When
You want to keep several priced options in the PNR as offers (not booked), send them to the client, and confirm the chosen one later.
Steps
| # | Entry | What it does | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | OFS/A | Creates an air offer from the current pricing. | Keep the option and its price. |
| 2 | OFS/A/MK-20 | Same, with a mark-up of 20. | Client price including your agency's margin. |
| 3 | RTOF | Displays the offers in the PNR. | |
| 4 | TQQ/O1 | Price details of offer 1. | |
| 5 | OFN · OFN/O1,3 | Emails all · offers 1 and 3 to the address in APE. | Send to the client. |
| 6 | OFV1 | Verifies offer 1 is still valid (seats and price). | Before confirming. |
| 7 | OFK1 | Confirms offer 1 — it becomes booked segments. | The client accepted. |
| 8 | XE1 | Cancels offer 1. |
Graphic: All Fares results → Propose offer (non-NDC only); the Offers section has Verify, Confirm and Send offer notice.
Check it worked
RTOF lists the offers; after OFK1 the flights appear as segments in the PNR.
Traps
- An offer holds no seat and no price — always verify (
OFV) before confirming. - Many agencies send their own client offer document; Amadeus offer notices are an alternative, not a requirement. Do not send both with different prices.
