When
You want to search by price rather than by seats — the graphic All Fares tool shows priced recommendations (cheapest first) with fare families, baggage and conditions, and can book them.
What it is
All Fares (Selling Platform Connect) combines several content sources in one search: GDS e-ticket fares (ETK), Air Extension (AirX), Light Ticketing carriers (LTC) and NDC. Which of these your office sees depends on its contracts.
Steps
- Open it: Your desktop → Air search, or File → New booking file → Air, or the air icon in a booking file.
- Choose the search type: Standard, Flexible dates (±3 days, a price calendar) or Shop by bound (outbound and inbound chosen separately, one-way fares combined).
- Itinerary: From / To (city, airport or code), dates, times, cabin, wished or excluded airlines
(type
-before an airline to exclude it). - Passengers by type (add other passenger types if needed).
- Fares and fees: fare types, up to six corporate codes. Search.
- Results: cheapest first; sort by convenience, times, duration, connections or price; filter by duration, connections, time, airlines. Expand a recommendation for price details, fare conditions, taxes, seats left and ticketing details.
- Add to compare / Compare all fares opens the fare-family comparison matrix; Propose offer creates an offer; Select flight books it; then Save (ER).
Check it worked
After Save (ER) the booking file shows a record locator and the flights in the Products section.
Traps
- Shop by bound can build multi-ticket itineraries (two one-way tickets) — shown with a different icon; each ticket stands alone if a flight is missed.
- GDS one-way fares combine only with GDS one-way fares, NDC only with NDC.
- The price shown is a search price; it is confirmed only when you price the booking.
