When
Your agency has an agreement with an airline for a block of seats on certain flights (an allotment, e.g. for a tour series) and you want to sell from it.
Steps
| # | Entry | What it does | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | AT30JUNFRALAX | Negotiated space display. | Your blocked seats. |
| 2 | AN30JUNFRALAX | Availability including negotiated space. | Blocks next to normal seats. |
| 3 | AV18MAYJAPANCULTURETRIP | Negotiated space by event name. | For a named tour. |
| 4 | LOTLAF/MAY-CC2 | Flights on which your company owns space. | Overview. |
| 5 | LOTB1 | Bookings made against block 1. | How many are used. |

The negotiated space display shows the block, its seats and its dates.
Traps
- This works only if your office has the security agreement for that airline. If the entries are refused, your office has no negotiated space in Amadeus — group seats are then handled as groups (Group PNRs — group name, sell, names, seats and fare).
- Blocks have release dates (seat reduction dates): unsold seats go back to the airline.
- Creating or changing blocks is for authorised users only.
