When
The segments are sold and you want the exact price of this booking in the booked classes, without creating a stored fare (TST) — to quote the client or to check an option.
Steps
| # | Entry | What it does | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | FXX | Prices the PNR in the booked classes; stores nothing. | A safe quote. |
| 2 | FQQ1 | Ticket image of the fare on line 1. | Fare, taxes, total, fare calculation. |
| 3 | FQN1 | Rules of that fare. | Conditions before you promise. |
| 4 | FXX/P1 · FXX/S2 | One passenger · one segment. | Parts of the booking. |
| 5 | FXX/R,10MAY26 | As if ticketed on 10 May 2026 (past date, information only). | Compare with an old ticket's fare. |
Check it worked
The answer lists one line per passenger type with fare, taxes and total; several lines mean several fares apply.
Traps
- Without names, pricing works only if the office has the "price without passenger" setting; then Amadeus prices adults. Child and infant fares need name elements with their type (Name element — adults, children, infants and passenger types).
FXXdoes not hold the price — fares can change until the ticket is issued.- To ticket you need a TST: use
FXP(orFXB), notFXX.
