When
You want to know which flights exist on a route and date (including full ones), or you want the flights sorted by departure, arrival or travel time.
What the difference is
- AN (availability) — flights you can sell, with seats per class. Full flights and non-sellable airlines are left out or show closed classes.
- SN (schedule) — flights that operate, whatever the seats. Good to answer "is there a flight?" and to show the client all options.
Steps
| # | Entry | What it does | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | SN20OCTLJUCDG | Schedule display. | All operating flights. |
| 2 | SN30SEPLHRJFK/AYY | Schedule including non-participating airlines. | Flights that cannot be sold in Amadeus. |
| 3 | AD20OCTLJUCDG · AA… · AE… | Availability sorted by departure · arrival · elapsed time. | The client wants to arrive before noon. |
| 4 | SD · SA · SE | Same sorting for schedules. |
Every AN option also works with SN, AA, AD, AE, SA, SD, SE.

The header says AMADEUS SCHEDULES - SN or AMADEUS AVAILABILITY - AN.
Traps
- A flight in
SNmay have no sellable seats or belong to an airline Amadeus cannot sell — checkANorGG PCAbefore promising it. - Neutral displays list flights by Amadeus's own ranking; sort (
