When
A display is longer than the screen (a PNR with many elements, a fare list, a help page), or you want to resend an entry with a small change.
Steps
| # | Entry | What it does | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | MD (or just M) | Move down one page. | See the rest of a long display. |
| 2 | MU | Move up one page. | Go back. |
| 3 | MT · MB | Move to the top · to the bottom. | Jump to the start or the end (e.g. the last PNR elements). |
| 4 | RE | Recall your last entry into the command line. | Fix one character of a long entry and send it again. |
| 5 | RE2 | Recall the entry before the last. | Same, one step further back. |
Availability displays have their own scrolling entries (next flights, earlier flights, another day) — see Scrolling and changing an availability display.
Check it worked
The display moves; RE puts the old entry back in the command line, ready to edit.
Traps
MDscrolls the last display. If you made another entry in between, you scroll that one.- Help and information pages add
GG/HEvariants (MDGG,MPGG,MP HE) to return to them after another entry.
