When
Before issuing an EMD: like a ticket needs a TST, an EMD needs a TSM-P.
What it is
TSM-P (Transitional Stored Miscellaneous, type P = pricing quotation record) holds the EMD's
price and fields for confirmed (HK) chargeable SSRs or SVC segments: EMD type (A or S),
validating carrier, RFIC/RFISC, coupon values, present to / at, in-connection-with ticket, fare,
taxes, total, endorsement, commission, form of payment. It shows in the TSM index with a P flag.
Steps
| # | Entry | What it does | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | FXG · FXG/L8 | Prices the chargeable SSRs (all · line 8) and creates the TSM-P. | Automatic — most bags and seats. |
| 2 | TMC/VBA/L4 | Creates a TSM-P by hand for SVC line 4, validating carrier BA. | Fees and residual values. /V is mandatory for agents. |
| 3 | TQM · TQM/M1 | Displays the TSM(s). | Check it. |
| 4 | TMI/M1/FP-CASH | Adds the form of payment to TSM 1. | Every TSM needs one. |

Check it worked
TQM shows the TSM with RFIC/RFISC, amount, form of payment.
Traps
- A TSM is deleted automatically when its flight, SSR/SVC or passenger is cancelled.
- Flight change after pricing: remove the change flag (
TMF) only if the price still applies.
