Is there an Amadeus MCP server? What it can and can't do
Amadeus has no generally available MCP server of its own. What exists in October 2026, and what an Amadeus MCP server like GateRoam can and can't do.
| Merge Agent Handler | GateRoam | |
|---|---|---|
| Who it is for | Engineering and product teams that connect their own AI agents to third-party systems (source) | Travel agencies whose agents quote flights and hotels for their clients |
| Whose content and contract | Your Amadeus credentials, which "Merge stores and refreshes … on your behalf", with one tool per Amadeus API (source) | Your agency's own contract: Amadeus Enterprise or Quick Connect (classic and NDC fares), or Travelport+ (Galileo) through Travelport TripServices; for hotels, RateHawk (ETG API) or GoGlobal (XML API) |
| Who pays | Free with 2,000 credits a month; Pro is $1,000 a month for 25,000 credits, "spent with every tool call" (source) | Free during early access. Fares and rooms are on your own supplier contracts |
| Can it book | Yes, through the raw create_flight_order tool, after search and pricing (source) | It holds flight bookings in Amadeus or Travelport+ and books hotel rooms on your RateHawk or GoGlobal account, after the agent's yes, and never issues tickets. An admin switches each on, and every booking is listed under the colleague who made it |
| Which AI assistants | The agents your team builds, and MCP clients such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor and Windsurf (source) | Claude, ChatGPT and any MCP client; Microsoft 365 Copilot through Copilot Studio |
| Which Amadeus keys | Its tools follow the Amadeus for Developers APIs, such as flight inspiration and most-booked destinations; the page doesn't say whether Enterprise keys work (source) | Built for Amadeus Enterprise and Quick Connect keys |
