When
Before issuing: most markets require a commission element on the ticket, even when it is zero.
Steps
| # | Entry | What it does | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | FM0 | Zero commission. | The usual case today. |
| 2 | FM9 · FM7.50 | 9% · 7.5%. | When your agency has a commission agreement. |
| 3 | FM20.00A | Fixed amount 20. | Amount instead of percent. |
| 4 | FM9N | Net remit commission (market-specific). | Net remit tickets. |
| 5 | 13/20 · XE13 | Changes · cancels the FM element on line 13. | Fix it. |
| 6 | TQT/FM | Shows the commission from Amadeus's commission table. | If the office uses one. |
| 7 | TMI/M1/FM-10A | Commission on a TSM-P (EMD). | EMDs too. |
| 8 | TGTCD/LCQA · TGTCD000049/LCQA | The commission table · one rule in it. | When your office keeps commission rules in Amadeus. |

RTF shows the FM element; TQT shows the commission in the TST.
Traps
- The commission is reported to BSP and reduces what your agency pays the airline — a wrong percentage creates a debit memo. Use only what your agency's agreement with that airline says.
