When
A manual exchange where at least one original segment stays, so the original TST still exists and
you update it instead of re-pricing. Coupons must be open (O).
Steps — no additional collection
| # | Entry | What it does | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | change the itinerary | Keep at least one original segment. | The TST survives. |
| 2 | TTU/S2-3 | Relinks the TST to PNR segments 2-3. | New flights in the TST. |
| 3 | TTK/EXCH | Exchange mode. | |
| 4 | TTK/L1/BSIT/V10FEB10FEB/A23K · TTK/L2/VXX10JUN | Fare basis, validity, baggage on changed lines. | Minimum a not-valid-after date. |
| 5 | TTK/CLON BA DOH M/BT QR MLE M/BT BA LON M/BT END (if routing changed) | Updates the fare calculation. | Must match the new routing. |
| 6 | TWD, FO*L14 | FO element. | |
| 7 | RF + name, TTP/F/RT | Removes the change flag and issues. |
With an additional collection
After step 4: TTK/YGBP300 new base fare (R published, Y IT, W BT reissue indicator), TTK/TGBP50
total collection, TTK/X20YQ/X1.50UB new taxes; then 9/+/CASH/EUR50 for the FP; then FO and
TTP/F/RT.
Traps
- If all remaining segments change, the TST drops out — use Exchange when the TST was deleted (rebuild from history).
TTP/Fremoves the change flag — only after the TST really matches the new itinerary.
