When

Use this card to store a client's address in a Galileo booking file: the written (postal) address, a delivery address for documents, or extra related addresses.

Check first

  • A written address needs a postal code. Have it before you start.
  • If the airline needs the address for border control (for example a US destination address), that is a DOCA SSR, not this field — see Passport data (APIS / Secure Flight) with SSR DOCS.

Changing and deleting

*AA shows the written address with its P/ postal code, the delivery address and any related addresses.

Traps

  • The P/ postal code is mandatory in the written and related address. Put it in every time, as the last subfield.
  • Limits: written and related addresses up to 5 subfields, delivery up to 6; each subfield up to 37 characters; the written address up to 119 characters in all.
  • A file holds one written and one delivery address. To correct one, change it with W.@ or D.@ rather than typing a second one.
  • Direct payment carriers list the address among the fields their bookings need before you end (Direct payment carriers — book airlines paid directly, no ticket).
  • Address changes appear in the history (*HAD, see Read the booking file history).
