When
Use this card when a booking is for a corporate client and your agency works with a Galileo corporate ID for that company, or an airline asks for a corporate client identifier.
What it is
A corporate ID has three parts written together:
| Part | Length | Example |
|---|---|---|
| corporate identifier | 6 letters or digits | EXCO01 |
| country code | 2 letters | SI |
| travel agency identifier | 3–5 letters or digits | XQ7 |
Together: EXCO01SIXQ7. Only IDs that are already loaded in the validation table are accepted.
Steps
| # | Entry | What it does | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | ID.C/EXCO01SIXQ7 | Adds the corporate ID to the booking file. | Marks the booking as belonging to that company. |
| 2 | *ID | Shows the corporate ID. | Check it went in. |
| 3 | ID.C/@ | Deletes it. | Wrong company or not a corporate trip. |
In Preview Plus (Lists of booking files (LD) and Preview Plus) the corporate ID can be filled in on the travel information screen.
Check it worked
*ID shows the full ID. If the ID is not in the validation table, the entry is not accepted.
Traps
- It is a single item. A booking file holds one corporate ID. To replace it, delete it with
ID.C/@and add the new one. - This field is not the account name in the
DI.AC-remark. List displays filter on that remark with/AC-(Lists of booking files (LD) and Preview Plus, see Remarks — which kind goes where (itinerary, notepad, accounting)). - Some airlines want a corporate client identifier as a manual SSR,
CLID. Only one CLID per airline per booking is allowed; remove duplicates without a message (XK, see Manual SSRs — contacts, emergency contact, long loyalty numbers). Use the exact text the airline gives you. - For negotiated corporate fares see Private, net and account-code fares in a quote.
