How do I add itinerary remarks in Galileo?

RI.HAVE A PLEASANT TRIP adds a line the client sees; RI.S2*TEXT ties it to segment 2; RI.S1/CI*90 sets a check-in time. Internal notes go in the notepad (NP.), back-office data in DI. remarks.

Traps

  • The client reads RI. remarks. Never put internal notes, net prices or comments about the client there — use the notepad.
  • Cancelling a segment drops its remarks unless you move them first. Galileo warns ITIN RMKS XLD UNLESS REASSOC; before ending, re-attach them with RIR.1-2S3 (remarks 1 and 2 to segment 3).
  • Each itinerary remark holds up to 70 characters.
  • Check-in times must be between 10 and 240 minutes.
  • Ask your back office which DI. lines it reads before you use new ones.
