When
Use this card to add a traveller's loyalty card to a Galileo booking file so the miles are credited — on the airline's own flights or on a partner airline.
Check first
- The card number and the airline that issued it, and that the name on the card matches the name in the booking file.
Steps
| # | Entry | What it does | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | M.LH992000123456 | Adds an LH card in a booking file with one traveller. | No passenger number needed when there is only one. |
| 2 | M.P2/LH992000123456 | Adds an LH card for passenger 2. | Several travellers: always name the passenger. |
| 3 | M.P2/LH992000123456/OS | The LH card used on an OS flight. | Earn miles on the LH card when flying a partner airline. |
| 4 | M.P2*LH/OS/LX | Adds partners OS and LX to the LH card already in the file. | Up to 10 partner airlines per card. |
| 5 | M*LH | Shows LH's agreement table: which airlines accept LH cards. | Check the partner is there before adding it. M*ALL lists every airline with a table. |
| 6 | *MM | Shows the mileage data. | Check numbers and partners. |
| 7 | M.P2@ · M.LH@ · M.@ | Deletes passenger 2's cards · all LH cards · all cards. | Remove a wrong number. |
In Smartpoint: customer information script → Loyalty.
Check it worked
*MM shows each card with the passenger number, airline and partners. For airlines that check cards online, the number and name are checked against the airline's data as you enter them.
Traps
- Name and card must match. Some airlines (for example KL, AF, LH) check the card against the passenger name as you type it. Fix the name or the number; do not force it.
- The item holds 6–27 characters, airline code included. A longer number goes in a manual FQTV SSR (Manual SSRs — contacts, emergency contact, long loyalty numbers).
- A partner card only earns miles if the operating airline is in the agreement table (
M*). - Mileage changes are kept in the history (
*HMM).
