Is my booking sent anywhere?

No. The converter reads the text in your browser and sends it nowhere: not to GateRoam, not to anyone else. To check, open your browser's developer tools (F12), go to the Network tab and paste a booking. You see the page load a few files of its own: two lists (airports and airlines), icons and fonts. Search the Network tab for a flight number or the booking reference you pasted: nothing comes up.

Which systems does it read?

Amadeus: the RT display of a booking as Selling Platform Connect shows it, and the TQT of its stored fare. Galileo (Travelport+, Smartpoint): the *R or *I display, and the *FF filed fare. Sabre: the *A, *I or *IA display, and the *PQ price quote. It finds out by itself which one you pasted. The Galileo and Sabre readers follow the public layout of those displays; if your office shows a line the converter does not read, tell us through the contact page and we will add it.

Why are the passenger names not shown?

The converter counts the names and keeps none of them, so a screenshot or a copy of the result never shows who travels. Add the names yourself when you send it, if the client needs them.

Why could the year be wrong?

A booking display shows the day and month of a flight, not the year. The converter takes the next such date from today, so a booking for a date that has already passed this year is read as next year. Check the dates before you send.

Is it free? Is there a limit?

Yes, it is free, with no limit and no signup. The samples on these pages are made up: their booking reference, names, fares and times are invented, and the flight numbers do not follow Lufthansa's real schedule.

How to read a Sabre PNR

A flight line of the display, part by part. The converter reads every flight line this way.

3: The segment number.
LH 401Y: The airline code, the flight number and the booking class stuck to it: Lufthansa flight 401 in class Y.
10DEC: The day and month of departure. There is no year.
4: The day of the week, 1 (Monday) to 7 (Sunday). Some offices show a letter instead: M T W Q F J S.
JFKFRA: Where from and where to: two 3-letter airport or city codes, here New York JFK and Frankfurt.
*: This flight is married to the next one: a connection the airline sells only as a pair.
HK2: The status and the number of seats: HK is confirmed, for 2 passengers.
1755 0730: Departure and arrival, each in the local time of its airport. An office in the US sees 12-hour times: 555P.
11DEC 5: The arrival date and its weekday, shown when the flight lands on another day.
/DCLH*SMPL01: The airline (LH) and its own booking reference, which the client can use on the airline's website.
/E: The flight can be issued as an e-ticket.
