When
ATC is not available, no travel has started, and the new fare equals (or is below, without refund) the old one — the ticket is reissued with nothing to collect.
Steps
| # | Entry | What it does | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | check rules, change the itinerary | New flights in the PNR. | |
| 2 | TTE (TTE/ALL) | Deletes the old TST(s). | Start fresh pricing. |
| 3 | FXB/K or FXP | Prices the new itinerary (best fare keeping the cabin · booked classes). | New fare. |
| 4 | TTK/EXCH | Puts the TST in exchange mode. | Fare codes switch to reissue. |
| 5 | TTK/VXX10JUN (if missing) | At least a not-valid-after date. | Required for reissue. |
| 6 | TWD then FO*L14 | Displays the old ticket, creates the FO. | Links old and new. |
| 7 | RF + name, TTP/RT | Issues the new ticket. |

New ticket issued with the FO; old ticket coupons E.
Traps
- Only for journeys not started; partly flown tickets need fare calculation from the start.
- Check the rules allow the change without penalty — otherwise it is a collection case.
