When
Automatic pricing cannot produce the fare the airline agreed (a special fare, a fare given by the airline's desk) and a senior agent decides the ticket must be built by hand.
Check first
You have the fare basis, the amounts, the taxes and the fare calculation in writing from the airline. A manual TST without that is a debit memo waiting to happen.
Steps
| # | Entry | What it does | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | TTC · TTC/P1 · TTC/S2,5 · TTC/PAX · TTC/INF | Creates a blank TST shell (all · passenger 1 · segments 2, 5 · non-infants · infants). | Empty TST to fill. |
| 2 | TTC/D | One shell per passenger. | Different fares per person. |
| 3 | TTK/BY2QF · TTK/L1/V20SEP20SEP · TTK/A20K | Fare basis · validity · baggage. | Ticket fields. |
| 4 | TTK/FGBP250/X7.10UP/X0.90UQ | Base fare and taxes (total calculated). | Price fields. |
| 5 | TTK/CBUILD then TTK/L1-2/Z218ROE0.574888 | Fare calculation. | Mandatory on the ticket. |
| 6 | FVQF · FPCASH · FEVALID ONLY AS SHOWN | Validating carrier · form of payment · endorsement. | Ticketing elements. |
| 7 | RF + name, TTP/RT | Issues and redisplays. |

Check it worked
TQT shows all fields; TTP issues without errors.
Traps
TTCon a PNR with an existing TST overwrites it — useTQTto open an existing one.- Override and manual fares are not guaranteed by Amadeus.
