When
Use this card when some travellers in a Galileo booking file change or cancel and the others do not. You divide them into a booking file of their own and work on that one.
Check first
- Finish or ignore any other change first. No changes are allowed until the divide is complete.
- Know the passenger numbers to move (
*N).
Steps

Then change or cancel what you need in the divided file, as in any other booking (Cancel the whole booking (itinerary) in Galileo).
Check it worked
Each file shows only its own travellers, its own record locator and, after the airline has processed the divide, a different airline locator in *VL.
Traps
- No new airline locator? Then the airline has not split its side yet, and a cancel could affect both parties. Send a vendor remark, for example
V.AJU*PNR DIVIDED PLEASE SEND SEPARATE LOCATOR, and wait for it (Vendor remarks — messages to and from the airline). - SSRs travel with the divided passenger. OSIs about an infant or child are not updated for you: update or add them yourself.
- To remove an adult or child from a saved file you must divide; only a lap infant can be deleted from the name field directly (Names for adults, children and infants).
- Groups:
DG/5divides five unnamed places from a group booking. - Tickets are not touched by a divide. A traveller who cancels may still need a void or refund (Cancel the whole booking (itinerary) in Galileo).
