When
You build a PNR (a contact is mandatory) or you want the passenger — or your agency — to be told about schedule changes and to receive the e-ticket receipt.
Steps
| # | Entry | What it does | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | AP | Adds the agency contact from the office profile. | Quickest mandatory contact. |
| 2 | APA-LJU(01)1234567 | Agency phone. | Airline calls your agency. |
| 3 | APM-386 41 123456 | Passenger mobile. | Reach the traveller. |
| 4 | [email protected] | Email. | E-ticket receipts and itineraries are sent to it. |
| 5 | AP DUB 76666-H/P3 | Phone linked to passenger 3 only. | Different contacts per passenger. |
| 6 | APN-M+38641123456/P1 · [email protected]/P1 | Contact the airline may use to notify the passenger (Altéa airlines). | Disruption and schedule-change messages go straight to the traveller. |
| 7 | 3/… | Changes element 3's text. | Correct a number. |
Other types: APB business, APH home, APF fax.

Traps
APelements may be sent to the airline by teletype, depending on the office profile;APX-…keeps one out,APS-…forces one in.APNworks for Altéa airlines only; for others the airline receives contact data through SSRs (SSR CTCE / CTCM, shown in the booking file SSR section).- The email you put here is where Amadeus sends receipts — check it before issuing.
