How do I set a booking reminder in Galileo?

RB.20OCT*CALL CLIENT ABOUT PAYMENT puts the booking file on queue 12 at 07:00 on 20 October. Add a time (RB.20OCT/1530*) or queue (RB.Q41*), change with RB.@1/22OCT and display with *RB.

When

Use this card to make a Galileo booking file come back to you on a chosen day — to chase a waitlist, call the client about payment, or check a visa — with a note saying why.

Check first

  • Without other details a review item goes to your own branch, queue 12, at 07:00. Decide whether that suits you or name a time and queue.

Check it worked

*RB lists each item with date, time, branch, queue and text. On the day the file appears on that queue; *HRB shows items that were changed or removed.

Traps

  • The reminder only helps if someone works that queue. Queue 12 is where review items land by default; agree in your office who empties it (Work a queue — sign in, act, remove, sign out).
  • Counting and pulling early: ORC/RB/20OCT counts the files due on a date; ORB/RB/20OCT-Q/30 moves them to queue 30 now (queue 12 if you give none).
  • Up to 99 items per file, 255 characters of text each.
  • For the ticketing deadline use the ticketing field (T.TAU/…), not a review item — lists of unticketed files read the ticketing field only (Ticketing arrangement field (T.TAU, T.TAW, T.T*)).
  • Delete reminders you no longer need, or the file still lands on the queue on that date.
