How do I set the ticketing field in Galileo?

T.TAU/20OCT puts the booking file on queue 10 on 20 October; T.TAW/20OCT/1600 waits for a manual ORB/TAW move. The field runs on Zulu time. T.T* counts as ticketed, so use it only when tickets exist. Check with *TD.

When

Use this card to fill the mandatory ticketing field of a Galileo booking file: a date when the file should come back for ticketing, or a mark that it is already ticketed.

Check first

Steps

#EntryWhat it doesWhy
1T.TAU/20OCTThe file is placed on queue 10 automatically on 20 October. The usual choice: the queue reminds you to ticket.
2T.TAU/20OCT*WAIT FOR PAYMENTSame, with a note.Tells whoever works queue 10 what to check.
3T.TAU/7XQ1/20OCTPlaces it on queue 10 of branch 7XQ1 on that date. When another office issues the tickets.
4T.TAW/20OCT/1600Date and time, but no automatic queue. For offices that pull files themselves.
5ORB/TAW/20OCT-QMoves all TAW files for 20 October to queue 9 now.The manual pull that TAW needs; -Q/56 picks another queue.
6T.TLLJU/JU1200/18OCTTime limit form: ticket at LJU, by JU, at 12:00 on 18 October. When the airline gave a fixed time limit.
7T.T*Shortest form: marks the file as ticketed or arranged. When tickets are issued, Galileo stamps the field with place, time and agent.
8T.@TAU/22OCT · T.@Changes · deletes the field. It is a single item: change it, do not add a second one.
9*TDShows the ticketing field.Check the date and type.

Check it worked

*TD shows the new arrangement. On the date, a TAU file appears on queue 10 (Pre-assigned queues — what lands on queues 0 to 25).

Traps

  • The field runs on Zulu (UTC) time, not local time. Late in the evening the date can already be the next day in UTC. Keep a margin.
  • T.T* makes the file count as ticketed. Lists of unticketed files (LD/UTK/15NOV-D) skip it. Do not use it on a booking that still has to be paid and issued.
  • The field may be left out only when every air segment is HX, UC, UN, NO or TK (Segment status codes (HK, KK, HL, UC, TK, HX …) and what to do).
  • TAW files never move by themselves. If nobody runs ORB/TAW, the date passes unnoticed.
  • Up to 90 characters including the entry.
  • For a reminder that is not about ticketing (call the client, check a waitlist) use a review booking item (Review booking reminders (RB.) on a date and queue).
